Free for ios download Capture One 23 Pro2/29/2024 ![]() Sort of backwards as I would have preferred the camera to still show all the controls rather than looking at the Eizo screen, but better than nothing. Pressing the OK button toggles through all the playback and info screens on the monitor. as all that is now on the large Eizo monitor's screen, but least now I can operate the on-camera controls. The camera's EVF and LCD are pretty much dumb items showing image only and no shutter speeds, etc. The camera's LCD only shows the image and the histogram, and everything else is shown on the Eizo monitor screen like the Super Control Panel Panel: i.e. ![]() I learned today if I use a HDMI-D connector into the E-M1ii and run the output HDMI cable into an Eizo CG-248-4K monitor it will work, sort of, as a remote wired viewer. ![]() On1 evidently had some remote viewer app in the past, but they've moved on and it's not in the Apple Store anymore. Some people like to stare in a mirror as to how they look during a session, and a screen might from the camera's POV and also while out in the field if no mirror is around. ![]() Just want it so in the studio, someone with the iPad or phone can see the image the camera sees and allowing me to still operate the camera in my hands, but Olympus says it can't be done with their current software as WiFi activation disables it. Doesn't work wired either to the iPad, but Apple doesn't allow for a "wired input." Don't know about Android (?). If I am the photographer holding and working the camera, I have no control at the camera other than staring at the WiFi linking image running on the LCD (Camera is locked up.), and whomever with the software can operate it so doesn't do me any good. Their "Capture" software disables at the camera, and then their software operates it as a remote trigger. Olympus even admits it will not work as a remote viewer (I tried twice with them with two different people.) after I gave up. Thanks, but it does not work as a "remote viewer," designed as a "remote 'Capture'" only. Least it didn't damage either the Pen-F or the E-M1-II.Īpple is stubborn about not allowing even HDMI output going INTO the tablet too, although they make an OUTPUT only adapter for the Lightning jack.ī&H Photo says they sell some Wi-Fi thing that will take an HDMI output and make it available to cells and iPads, but it costs $x,xxx too. It "Does not recognize the camera" message pops up - only supports Canon and Nikon. I also tried various means to hook up my CamRanger up to it to no avail. They wrote it off as a "Poorly explained" instruction. No live view is possible where photographer has control at the camera position with their cell/tablet app, just remote trigger but not a viewer only. Support just emailed me saying it will not work with cellphones or tablets, just a Windows or Apple iMac or the Big Stuff. Well, the camera controls do not work! Just a dark black screen and nothing via any camera controls works on it.
